    Most American domain investors views hyphenated domains with disdain and thinks that this domain would only lose a massive amount of traffic to the non-hyphenated version of the same domain.

    But in Germany, they love hyphenated domains. In fact SEDO.com had just recently sold Hotel-Reservation.com a hyphenated domain to Robert Ragge, a Cologne, Germany businessman who operates a company called Hotel Reservation Service for the price of €142,800 or $209,916.

    This is the highest priced domain sale so far since DN Journal (link below) stars tracking the domain aftermarket.
