Mint. com has recently been sod for just about one hundred and seventy million dollars. Neither was it the sale of a domain name, nor was it the sale of an actual website, but it was actually the sale of an ebusiness.
Mint. com brings in an annual revenue of about ten million dollars a year and therefore some people tried to compare the sale of the business to a typical domain sale.
They mentioned that the representation of the price was that of seventeen times the annual revenues of the company.
